Nate Andreozzi: "Rocco" the Standard Rat Terrier

I can't be more appreciative to have found SOUL'Y RAW to help with my happiness and love towards my four legged best friend Rocco. The group of ladies are amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and above all extremely nice through pure passion. How confident it is knowing my little buddy is getting his fully balanced and nutritional diet for optimal health. With no doubt in my mind knowing Rocco's breed is already intelligent, I'm sure he will be incredibly smart, inquisitive, strong but most of all healthy and happy! A special thanks to Lisa for being so helpful and making the world a better place.

Heather Minaesian: "Duncan"

Our 90 lb white lab Duncan is your #1 fan.
Duncan is not food driven and had digestive issue as a puppy.  This caused issues when we were training.  Our trainer introduced us to your  products and this was life changing for us.
The first time I gave Duncan the 100% air dried treats he went through his training commands like a rock star.  When he sees the treat he sits down immediately for it.  No more digestive issues and we have a happy dog.
Thank you for providing a great product.

Oanh and Phong: "Mochi"  Del Sur, CA

Our dog Mochi loves the raw food we get from SOUL'Y RAW. It is one of the best decisions we've made for her. We introduced her to raw food because she was fighting chronic skin irritation which her vet suggested may be because she's allergic to certain processed food products. Since the switch Mochi's coat is shiny and puppy-soft and she looks very lean and healthy. She loves the food and looks forward to her well-balanced meal everyday!

Alonzo and Debby:  "Zeus and Zeena"

We adopted Zeena and Zeus this past year. Both needed healing. Zeus was very underweight and malnourished. We fed him him a good diet and gave him love and he improved. Both dogs however, have blossomed and are thriving on the raw, organic diet they now receive from SOUL'Y RAW. Their coats are lustrous, their flakey skin has resolved, their eyes are bright and their teeth and gums are healthy and tarter free.
The biggest improvement however, has been in their energy level, athleticism and muscle tone. They run and play all day. Zeus is now able to jump and wrap his front paws over our six foot fence! We have all of these benefits and they love the food! They also love the sardines, trachea and bones that we use as supplements to their meals!
In addition, our veterinarian is thrilled with their progress. I have spent years seeking out the best food I could find for my pets and eventually cooked meals for them. The organic raw diet with added nutrients has taken their health to a new level.
Thank you, Lisa!

Denise and Bill: "Coconut" Serra Mesa, CA

We are amazed of the changes in Coconut! She has been on SOUL'Y RAW Pet Food for about 6 months now and she looks amazing! Coconut is a Boston Terrier, 8 years old and was having a lot of issues that seemed to be getting worse. She was lethargic, not excited to eat her food, liked to chew on rawhides that didn't always agree with her, she had brown lines under her eyes, she was about 5 lbs overweight which was a lot for her small size, she had a leaky bowel, she was very gassy, and unfortunately she had a very disgusting habit…left unattended she ate her feces.
Within one week of changing her food from store bought pet food to SOUL'Y RAW pet food we noticed a difference in Coconut. She wasn't gassy, her leaky bowel stopped and she really was enjoying her food! You are probably wondering about her disgusting habit. It was GONE! Coconut stopped eating her feces and we were completely amazed! This had been going on for 8 years!
Lisa, SOUL'Y RAW's Founder, explained that she was lacking something in her diet that she was searching for and not getting from the store bought pet food. I never expected this change to happen let alone happen so quickly. After several more weeks the brown lines disappeared under her eyes, she was no longer lethargic and her coat looked great! I admit I was skeptical to change her food after 8 years of feeding her store bought pet food as well as not giving her treats or raw hides.
I had no idea how bad all of the processed food, treats and raw hides were for her. I am so happy with the raw food diet and the results are amazing! Coconut even lost those 5 lbs and her energy is level is great. Friends can't believe the difference and can't believe she is 8 years old. I thought we were destined to a lot of vet visits, medicines and a miserable dog. I can't say enough about SOUL'Y RAW and the wonderful changes it has brought to Coconut!

Travis, Natalie, Colton, Kailee, and Brutus Christ: "Otis"

Our dog Otis, a 6 year old pug-poodle mixed breed, was diagnosed with spine disease in January 2013.   We began to notice that Otis was dragging his hind legs and would continually fall down very easily.  After noticing this odd behavior in his gait, we made an appointment with our vet.  The vet took an x-ray and said the results were inconclusive, but clearly there was something wrong with his spine, so she referred him to a neurologist.  The neurologist conducted a quick exam in house and indicated that he did indeed have a problem with his spine.  The next steps suggested were back surgery at upwards of $7,000, which would begin with a $1,000 imagining/MRI to indicate the specific disc in his spine that was out of place.
Saddened by this diagnosis, we weren’t sure how to proceed, but we knew that Otis’ well-being was paramount.  I began researching alternative treatments online and found that acupuncture and hydrotherapy (an underwater treadmill) worked for similar spinal disease cases in dogs.  The alternative treatments cost the same as what the imaging alone would cost, which wasn’t going to help Otis at all, so we decided to go try this therapy first.  After his diagnosis, he was deteriorating quickly and couldn’t walk normally.  He began knuckling his hind legs, would drag his back paws and his claws began bleeding because of this.  He went from jumping onto the kids’ beds and the couch and running up and down stairs, to barely crawling across the floor.
Shortly after, Otis received 8 sessions of acupuncture twice a week for four weeks.  The first three weeks of his treatment, he was confined to a crate 24/7 and was put on glucosamine supplements and took liquid fish oil daily.  I had to carry him outside to go to the bathroom and would hold up his hind legs with a “help me up harness” so that he could have a bowel movement.
After his acupuncture treatments, he graduated to hydrotherapy sessions once a week for five weeks, coupled with physical therapy and at home exercises.  We began to see some improvements and strength, but he still had little neurological response from his mid back down.   Due to the expense of the alternative treatments after 8 weeks, we put this therapy on hold and continued strength exercises with Otis at home.
That is when, my husband, decided to try putting Otis on a special raw food diet to see if that would help him regain strength and feeling.  Being the foody that he is, Otis was over the moon once he was introduced to SOUL'Y RAW.  He transitioned from his kibbles diet to his new raw food diet seamlessly.  Lisa was able to create a special blend for him based on his age, weight, and diagnosis.  She also incorporated specific treats into his diet that provided him with the natural supplements through diet that were necessary to improving his back strength and decreasing the inflammation in his discs.  Slowly but surely, we began to notice improvements and Otis could once again go to the bathroom without being held up by a harness; this was liberating and promising.
Not only is Otis hooked on this amazing raw food diet after 9 months, but also he is strong and spry again like he used to be.  His spunk and playfulness is back, he chases his BFF Brutus, our cat, again and is going on short walks outside again.  While you can still tell that his gait is a bit “off”, he is stronger than ever.  We equate this improvement in his hind legs and being able to walk again without assistance to SOUL'Y RAW.
Anytime I grab a bag of SOUL'Y RAW treats and crinkle the bag, Otis and Brutus, come bolting into the kitchen for a tasty sardine treat or chicken jerky.  The packaging alone has become Pavlovian conditioning for our pets.  Our family is grateful for SOUL'Y RAW in making it possible for our young dog, Otis, to walk again without surgery!

"A growing number of dog owners these days are choosing to eschew kibble and canned food and feed their dogs a primal diet: raw meat.

The raw food market — estimated at $169 million in 2007, according to Media Post — is still just a small segment of the $19 billion pet food industry.

But the use of raw food is estimated to be going up at a rate of 23 percent annually.”
